BY USING THE www.yorkshirecapcompany.co.uk WEBSITE (“SITE”), YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS OF USE”), IN ADDITION TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS.  If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not access or otherwise use the Site.

The Site is owned by Yorkshire Cap Company Limited (YCC is referred to as “we” or “us”).  We may change the Terms of Use from time to time, at any time without notice to you, by posting such changes on the Site.

- When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order.

- Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary

slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories,

unless stated in the specification of the goods.

 

- We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that

appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any

colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.

 

- This contract is covered by English law.

 

- By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy

and the terms of website use.

 

 

How to place order:

 

- You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it

to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time.

 

  • Shipping charges will be shown prior to you confirming your order at the checkout

 

  • You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

 

- We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by

Visa/Mastercard.

 

- All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current

rate.

 

  • Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date.

 

 

Delivery & Carriage Charges:

 

- We usually ship orders the same day or the next working day. While we do our best to get your order out quickly, any dispatch date we give is only an estimate and may occasionally change.

 

- We will normally deliver goods within 1-2 working days of dispatch.

 

- We can deliver our doors anywhere in mainland Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. There

will be a charge to deliver goods to the Channel Islands, the Highlands/Islands of Scotland & The

Isle of Wight.

 

  • Goods will be dispatched to the delivery address provided by you at checkout.

  • Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.

 

- If there is no one to accept the order on the scheduled delivery date the goods may be returned

to the factory and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.

 

Cancellation and returns:

 

  • You can cancel your contract at any time up until 48 hours before the day of delivery. To do this, please email us.

 

- You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to

improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

 

- Items must be returned to us at your own expense, along with their original packaging, within 2

weeks should you cancel your order. You must ensure that such items are packaged sufficiently to

prevent damage in transit. If items are delivered with damages we unfortunately won’t be able to

provide a refund as they haven’t been returned as the same standard as they were delivered.

 

- This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or

misdescribed.

 

- We reserve the right to refuse replacements on any damaged items reported to us outside of

two working days.

 

- If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing within 48hours

providing details of the problem. In addition, you must provide us with a digital photograph of the

problem as this saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in

accordance with your legal rights.
